New York City
Arguably the "Mecca of Street Photography" (contested only by Tokyo), NYC has everything a street photographer looks for: bustling city life, interesting people, and lots of things happening daily. I normally travel to New York for stopovers ranging from a few hours to a few days on the way to somewhere else, and I have never passed up on an opportunity to photograph this vibrant city (and spend all my money in B&H).
