Istanbul
There's really no other city on Earth that's as unique as Istanbul. East-meets-west permeates every layer of its cuisine, architecture, people, and culture. I visited on a short vacation (with a small daytrip to Antalya), and needless to say, no other city has stimulated me creatively as much as this one in such short a time.

Cats
Everyone who goes to Istanbul comes home with about a million cat photos on their phone. Here's my favorites from the dozens I had on my Lightroom dump.
Architecture
Architecture really isn't my genre of photography (I like my photos to have people in them), but seeing these in person really makes me wish I was good at it. The Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans really had a good eye for aesthetics. It's amazing how these still stand after hundreds of years.
